The United by Service Bloggers Page is a dedicated space for writers who want to share knowledge, insight, and real‑world experience about VA benefits, Veteran Service Officers, and the organizations that support our veteran community. We’re building a team of monthly and weekly contributors who can help educate veterans, surviving spouses, caregivers, and fellow VSOs through clear, accurate, and engaging content.

1. Writers with Real Experience

We welcome:

• Veterans and spouses
• Advocates and volunteers
• Leaders from the American Legion, VFW, DAV, AMVETS, and other organizations

2. Topics That Make a Difference

We’re seeking blogs that focus on:

• VA benefits education
• Claims tips and guidance
• Survivor benefits (DIC, SBP, CHAMPVA, etc.)
• Community programs and outreach
• VSO training, tools, and best practices
• Legislative updates affecting veterans
• Real stories from the field
• Post activities, events, and success stories

If it helps veterans or highlights the work of Service Officers, it belongs here.

3. Clear, Accurate, Helpful Writing

We aim for content that is:

• Easy to understand
• Fact‑based and reliable
• Friendly and supportive
• Focused on helping veterans navigate the system

You don’t need to be a professional writer — just someone who cares about getting good information out there.

Monthly Bloggers

Ideal for deeper dives, educational articles, or feature stories.

You choose the schedule that works for you.

What Contributors Need to Provide

To join the United by Service writing team, bloggers should be prepared to submit:

• A short bio (2–4 sentences)
• A profile photo (optional)
• Your preferred posting schedule (weekly or monthly)
• Your topic focus (VA benefits, VSO work, survivor programs, etc.)
• Your first draft of articles when ready

We’ll handle formatting, editing, and publishing — you just bring your voice and expertise.
